Tanglewood Relocation Staging Project

This military veteran had recently retired and took a government job in another state. They needed to sell their home but had not done the upkeep due to a hectic schedule. Haus 1216 had the exterior painted and the landscaping updated to give much needed curb appeal. We staged the home with some of their personal items and incorporated some new items as well.

Haus 1216 had all new carpet installed throughout the house. The walls were changed from a beige to a light gray with blue undertones. We added artwork to the walls and moved the fish tank out of the family room into the hallway as a focal point upon entry. The existing dining table had a broken chair so we added two captain chairs to anchor the ends.

We added a textured subway tile with black grout to the kitchen for contrast along with light decor.

We had the ceramic floors professionally cleaned and installed an industrial faucet in the kitchen. With the high ceilings in the family room we wanted to keep the furniture and decor minimal to enhance the size of the room. When staging a room its not about full design but about showcasing the room to appeal to buyers.
